Whats that thing bottom left of your photo? A toaster or something? I dont like how it reflects, kind of distracting to your subject.

I think your models personality clashes with your "cooking" theme. I think it could have been interesting that in her left hand she held that knife (located in front of the book) over the non-picture side of the cook book.

Oh btw, a lot of the details are lost with the lighting.
