Hate to say it, but this reminds me of a Movado watch. That aside, this is a striking shot: the simple colors and shapes are paradoxical in this depiction of enormous and complicated powers. And most effective.

I am sorry, but before critiquing this image, I had to check your details as to "manipulated or not." It did NOT say, "No." If it had been a "straight" shot, then I would have thought it to be quite superb, but . . .

'Stew', this is a perfectly 'straight' shot, through a 300mm Nikkor and 2x Teleconverter, 2 Grad filters, 1/4000th at f:5.6. Other than that, it was sharpened a little and cropped to this size in PS. Most of this is clearly stated in 'Equipment' and 'Technical Details'.

Okay Walter, thank you for the follow-up. I had reserved my rating until now. I don't see how PN could consider minor sharpening and "necessary" cropping as being manipulated. I would have checked "No," but in any case you did an excellent job. Very intiguing! 6/6
