I really love shooting fire and flames. It is so unpredictable that it makes it fun. The outcome at best is a guess. I like this image. I like the slight tilt of the candle also. I think it breaks up the centered nature of your composition. I think I might have brought the candle up a bit more and gone with a purely centered candle. The offset of the flame might make that approach interesting. Not sure about that of course, just an idea...

a good example of the power of simplicity when directed to a subject of common experience. It looks easy. It might have been. It probably wasn't.
