simon_holden 0 Posted July 23, 2004 this is intense. It makes me think of catching this raptor in the act of hunting, sat on a branch somewhere, spying an unsuspecting rabbit going about it's daily business. It's the eyes. They're full of intense malevolance (spelling?) and concentration. The details on the feathers is wonderful. Fantastic shot. Link to comment

erikadams 0 Posted July 23, 2004 I agree - National Geographic quality. Nice composition. I am also impressed with the quality of your Tamron lens. Sharp all the way out to the corners. Link to comment

photomd 0 Posted July 23, 2004 I cannot stop looking at it. I love the colors and details. I would make the frame darker and clean the beak a tad bit. Regards. Link to comment

brettjohnson 0 Posted July 23, 2004 This is an amazing image - I'm very impressed by this lens. What length was it shot at? Link to comment
andrew wald 0 Posted July 23, 2004 I really like this. If this were my work, I would spend another 4/5 hours in photoshop playing around with some dodging and burning techniques to add some dynamics. But this is still excellent as it is. Oh, and, please, get rid of that ugly frame. Either do a properly sized black frame (as gives best looks for wildlife photography) or just get rid of it. cerveza4lu 0 Posted July 23, 2004 I love this photo! The intense expression is simply breathtaking! This truly deserves to be under glass in an art gallery. My only recc. is that I'd have gone w/a black frame as prev. mentioned. Although, I understand where you were coming from great job! Link to comment
