This is very well taken. The main part of the image does seem to be too central but for some reason it doesn't bother me here... other than the fact I am mentioning it.

Simple & Pure photograph

Everything about this image is excellent. The snow lines up the side of each tree, the fine lines of the branches against the backdrop of brighter sky, the figure stood in the space between the two trees thereby assisting in the balance of the scene and his footsteps in the foreground.

Great composition!

nice tree in snow photo, but far from original. The composition is nice & I like the added person between the trees for scale. The footprints in the foreground have to go. They are highly distracting.

Heather, the person it`s not added in to the photo, my husband was there... I was asking him to pose for this shot !

I never accused you of adding anyone in artificially. What I meant was the addition of the person in the photo added a sense of scale in comparrison with the thousands of other lonley tree in snow shots out there. Whether or not that person is your husband & where he came from is completely irrevelant to me, the viewer.

Heather, sorry but I misunderstood the meaning of "Adding the person" in the photo ( I was thinking on post editing)...(I think it`s better to use "including" in this case). Thanks for your feedback...

Another beautiful austere image Ilona, graphic, and looks real cold. I was going to ask who was the poor person you made walk out in the snow to get this image, and I see in your post above you made your Hubby do it! I hope you made him a nice cuppa tea afterwards.
