the grey house 0 Posted July 22, 2004 A very good attempt at High Key I would say - stunning clarity. Very well done 7/6. Regards Paul - Visit The Grey House Photography If interested please visit my latest submission - Ruthven Barracks - Thanks. Link to comment
phil_ledwith 0 Posted July 22, 2004 It's a shame it's so burnt out in the highlights. Maybe the lights needed to be further away, our brought down a level. Link to comment
threeleaf 0 Posted January 3, 2005 on images of this wonderful lady before - even though I only noticed slight blowout because of the comments of others - I guess I was too busy enjoying the beauty in the shot - I hope you get to work with her again in the future. 7/6 Link to comment
robertfarnham 0 Posted January 3, 2005 I very much appreciate all your comments. I will be working with Rachel again many times, I'm sure. She's a very good friend and one of my all-time favourite people. As for this photo, the blowout was on purpose as an attempt at a high key effect. Here's a alternate version. Link to comment
threeleaf 0 Posted January 3, 2005 I am of the opinion that they are both fantastic - I find it impossible to like one more than the other - I would print them both - I think its difficult to take a shot of this lady that one wouldn't like. You are lucky in having her as a friend and willing to pose. Link to comment
akajohndoe 0 Posted January 14, 2007 I do not feel the original is too high-key in the head, where her hair provides a frame, nor in the bottom, where the jeans establish a distinction. However, the fair skin and light top loose a bit of detail in comparison to the rest of the shot with the white background. A tiny bit washed. But not by much! Very nice overall! Link to comment
