When I saw this as a thumbnail I really liked it. I still do...almost too much for it to carry the message you are trying to portray. It almost feels like there needs to be something ugly happening to really drive the contrast of the fist and wedding ring home. I am a spousal abuse survior and I understand your motivation but I think it needs more...just my humble opinon though!
