bartbies 71 Posted July 16, 2004 Great tones. I think that this shoot should be more sharpness. What aperture you used in this shoot? Link to comment
allonkira 0 Posted July 16, 2004 Thank you all, guys! Bartek - I used 3.5 aperture value. And you are right. I should have used a higher aperture to get more sharpness. I started to shoot IR with the 300d, after I realized that I might have a kind of a problem with my G2. when I shoot IR with the G2 I don't receive any colors at all. I get a monochromatic image. And I'm sure it's not a white balancing issue. . . . maybe it is??? Link to comment
david robinson 0 Posted July 16, 2004 4/4 -- This is not a 6 folks. Focus is off and subject is only marginally interesting. A good first effort with this camera while experimenting with IR, but not 6's IMHO. Link to comment
sondra kick 0 Posted July 17, 2004 I like the composition and softness in this photo. It gives one the feeling of a peaceful place. S Kicklighter :) Link to comment

maria conversano 0 Posted July 17, 2004 Yes, neads a bit more of sharpness, but this is not so a problem in a beautiful photo like this. I like your pleasure in exprerimenting, in put your self challenge your self. Good work, Allon! Link to comment
codepic 0 Posted July 19, 2004 Well, this must be the best IR shot I've ever seen... Beginner's luck? No, I've seen the rest of your portfolio. Thanks for sharing this with us. IR seems to suit yoou well... Link to comment
david robinson 0 Posted July 19, 2004 Your raters here insult you Allon. They must think you don't know the difference between good and bad images. I've seen your images and I know you know the difference. If you continue shooting in infrared you will get very good. It just takes some practice. The tonal values are all very different in IR and it takes some getting used to. I too look forward to more of your work. regards Link to comment
