The Seljalandsfoss ranges among the smaller of the famous waterfalls

in Iceland, but actually not that small, indeed

The picture would be very beautiful even without the small human figure, but this is really the icing on the cake - providing a sense of dimension and drawing the attention to exactly the right spot. Was this staged, or a lucky coincidence?

Thanks for the comments. No, Laurenz, it was not staged in the usual sense, it happened that we were there just the two of us, so as my wife was observing the waters more closely, I took the picture

I like the person down there, of course. There are roughly jst four/five coulours, which might even be too much for Iceland, and the do give a special taste to the image.

 

What I do not know if I like or I'd preferred not to be there is all the space to the left, though.
