i like it. do you think that her left arm and elbow being distorted is a bit distracting? how about this crop to deal with that? do you think it helps to focus on what makes this image so good?

Tommy - I gave a lot of thought to your version of the photo. I see your point about focusing the viewer's attention, and about the distorted elbow (which I don't like either), and your crop makes more logical sense with respect to these things. In the end, though, I prefer giving her a little room to relax. The tighter crop just feels too cramped to me and conveys a different tone. I also like the spot of light in the lower-right corner, and the highlighted wisp of hair on the left, which balance each other along the diagonal of the light rays.
