Arezzo, Piazza Grande

It had just raining on Arezzo this afternoon. All persons had shelter

in the cafes, restaurants, museums and under the porches and arches.

Nobody on the place. Thank you to rate and comment.

Michele, the subject of your photo is different. You wanted to show the coat-of-arms on the houses. What is the Saracino ? Is it a fair, a celebration ?

Great "bad weather" shot in color. Good idea to include the dark wet plates in the foreground. You can almost "smell" the rain here

the Saracino is a race similar to the Palio di Siena but in Arezzo there are riders which their lances must hit as close as possible to the centre a stuff very similar to a puppet (it is not very easy for me to translate in english sorry).
