Take Up Your Cross Daily

Was a beautiful sunrise morning in Galveston. I got a little wet

shooting this but the idea came to me slowly and I kinda found my

shot after a while. Thank God for Remotes and Timers and being able

to hold realllllly still for about 15 seconds.

Wonderful. The steely cool blue is great, doubly so because of the reflections. The backs of his (your?) feet seem to emphasize the humble stoicisim of this image. Great idea.

Hmmm. If you got more sun or red color, it could be perfect.

I didn't even notice the cross beam at first. What a really original idea. Well done. I could see how the red sky might have some implications that would be nice but the cool blue is also very appealing.

Yep Matt. you got it. Actually, there are three verses that talk about taking up your cross. Only one mentions taking up the cross daily. :-) It's in Luke 9:23. But oddly enough, Matthew 16:24 is the verse I was thinking of when I titled this. Thanks for stopping in. :-)
