Tom, Interesting building, I believe from the details that it is NY, certainly the intersection sounds like it. IMHO this isnt as good as your other work. I am such a fan of your art and skill yet this shot is not too strong on its own or compared to your other pieces. I feel weird saying this about a piece of yours especially when compared to my work ( yours being infinitly better) but I am just not getting this one. My opinion is just that and it is humble and not expert :) Keep shooting and posting. Good luck with the content management issues, I know how that can be - I have been a web developer for the last 6 years.

dank je Geert. Strand, Surf en..... NYC zo'n beetje mijn drie favoriete onderwerpen. Geintje, NYC is mijn favoriete stad, dat wel. dit weekend niet zo veel motivatie gehad. Teveel surfers geschoten :). Inspiratie is dan gegeven ogenblik even zoek.

Tom, I see streaks in the 5th window on the 12th floor from the bottom, not sure I can accept that type of flaw.

 

archecturally, its a different style of building with some character compared to the ol' rectangular box jobbies. The curves of the building along with the highlight running vertical produces an almost optical illusion that the bottomest floor is sticking out of the frame a wee bit.

 

suggestions for improvement- half naked men in the windows.
