guillelobera 0 Posted July 8, 2004 The Chrysler building (by William van Alen, 1930) was the highest (317,7 m) building in the world 1930-1931. It's one of the last skyscrapers in the Art Deco style. The gargoyles depict Chrysler car ornaments and the spire is modeled on a radiator grille. It has been restored in 1995 and it glitters again like it must have in the thirties. Link to comment

marty kokes 0 Posted July 8, 2004 Excellent Photo! I love the colors. It does look like the photo it slighty rotated clockwise, I would straighten it out with a little photoshop magic:) Link to comment
tomhallphotographycom 0 Posted July 8, 2004 I have shot from that exame street at that exact angle :), still nice to see a nice contrastrich version of my favorit building in second homecity. Ciao Link to comment
b_rd_lindqvist 0 Posted July 8, 2004 Am I right thinking that you have made everything but the sky grayscale and made the blue sky brighter? I think the contrast is a bit high, and would perhaps prefer having the building and its surroundings also in color. The sky could still be saturated bright blue. Could you show us the original image as well? Link to comment
micheleberti 0 Posted July 8, 2004 I like this composition, might be a bit too saturated sky but that's just my taste. Link to comment
sigfridlopez 0 Posted July 12, 2004 Un clasico.
