VKinCA 0 Posted July 8, 2004 Very intriguing the way the clouds appear to come so close to the viewer. Well done! 6A7O Link to comment
roberto p 0 Posted July 8, 2004 Every photo of yours tells a story...beside being really great from a technical point of view. Here the composition is perfect, the same for the b&w tone you select and the mood is...toucheable! Really congrats! Link to comment
rajeevthomas 1 Posted July 9, 2004 There is no other picture I ever seen like this one. A very original , well composed master work.It sure tells a story , about life, how every human being adapt to their circumstances, how they have been living for thousands of years and finally how little we know about it and how some photographers can capture it.Here you dod that...well done! atkphotoworks 0 Posted July 9, 2004 Altogether a striking image. I would suggest a bit more contrast. Perhaps even make the clouds and sky stand out a bit more. Link to comment

michaelseewald 237 Posted July 10, 2004 Balance is off. All direction of the eye is moving downward due to person looking there and items down there too. Would have been better to have gotten on your belly and shot up from the meal to balance it all. Dramatic effect would then have been a 7/7. This one is top heavy leading me to believe you did not know which image to get, the clouds or the person. KISS rule demands to pick your favorite (IE choose one strength) and work that to it's best possible conclusion. 5/5 Link to comment
nomade 1 Posted July 10, 2004 To certain degree I agree with Michael. The old lady having a meal is competing strongly with such a background, both of them deserve a separately take. In this way, it leaves me thinking about what is the message, if there is an intended one... Makes me want the photographer to explain its aim on the composition in case there was an intention to leave a message, or if it is just a pass by shot. Link to comment
bens 0 Posted July 14, 2004 really stands out. great context, love the tint for the stark, dry setting. like th composition, with the subject's body facing right, i imagine the clouds moving forward, see the dust rising . . . great stuff. Link to comment
