This is the second request for comments and ratings, the original was submitted in April. Since then, I have learned a few techniques that would apply to this image.

This photo was taken in a total darkness, with the only light source coming from a mini bulb hidden inside the tulip. I think it was 15 sec on F/8.

Great job, Ray! I've tried some similar stuff using a small flashlight to paint the images. You can check out my portfolio to see one of my better attempts (shameless plug, sorry...) It can be kind of tedious, but I really enjoy the technique. BTW, what kind of bulb did you use and where can I get one? I don't see any wires, so I'm assuming it has its own battery...

Ingenious! Lovely image regardless of technical detail. Looks like you're building quite a folder for musical instruments. Very nice idea.

The slight halo around the tulip on the upper side of the image is a bit distracting. Otherwise, great.

It's type of USB light that has a snake cable to bend, available at some computer stores. I also use this light for a few macro photos.

The wire was cloned out.

Excellent and refreshingly original. Great choice of a backdrop for the tulip and beautiful beautiful lighting.
