Easter Lilies in my Garden

Terribly simple, but so well executed that 'you get away with it'. The lighting and sharpness are superb. I'd be tempted to crop a bit and try a slight rotation of the frame to get a bit more of a diagonal (ie one flower higher than the other).

Here's my suggestion, but I'm not sure it's the best one, just a different approach.

Got home from work, saw these and grabbed a camera. (Easter lilies--

so-called--normally bloom in June/July. They are forced to bring them

into bloom for Easter.)

Beautiful. Wonderful color and great detail including the bits of yellow in the petals.

I usually shy away from floral images but I must say that this is very well done.. the lighting and composition are spot on! -N

Your control of the DOF is wonderful in this and the focus is spot on! My only complaint might be the colour of the background leaves.

Nice shot ... I agree that the image is fine the way it is too.

It is hard to get a pleasing composition using two similar subjects, (the human eye doesn`t like enen numbers), this type shot using one or three flowers would make a more balanced composition. Your focus, dof, and exposure is very good.
