great image, very nice colors/sharp. I would have liked to see more of the boats, maybe using a wider lens. (6-6)

Very pretty image...it almost looks like a painting. I love the the color in the sky and its reflection above and below the houses on the horizon.

Great colors and subject matter but i agree with the above comment more boats in the picture would have been better, regardless the but end of the boat on the right is distracting. What do you think of this crop.

Thanx, yes that looks better. I usually post full frame shot and then I work on the image later. I got lucky with that boat in the background, without it, it was even less boats in the shot..

The sky and reflection are great. How do you like the Pentax? Do you normally use it with a tripod?

Hello Colin, I love Pentax because it's a workhorse and very realiable under all kinds of conditions. I never use the tripod with Pentax because to carry two bodies and all the lenses is quite a bit to carry
