foureyes 3 Posted July 1, 2004 I ussually ressist the impulse to post pics that may look like a postcard,....but I wanted to share this unforgetable vision of the Tulum ruins, the largest Maya coastal city in the caribbean,....built in the 12th century. A place of magical beauty !....... At times like this the world seems like a work of art,.....enjoy. Link to comment
tom_jenkins1 0 Posted July 1, 2004 Nice color (polarized?). Does what a postcard should do - make you wish you were there. Link to comment
felixneiss 0 Posted July 1, 2004 Nice, but too much colour for my taste. Tone it down some. Link to comment
dennis jones 0 Posted July 2, 2004 Too much color....I think not... Cloud detail and water color are correct as I believe the rocks...Square format works for me also... what I want to know is how the heck did you get a 137K pix posted? I've stopped posting till I figure the photo.net compression black hole out... Link to comment

wilsontsoi 0 Posted July 2, 2004 Wonderful display of green & blue color varieties (to a large degree, thanks to that large, orange bolder.) Very peaceful. BTW, this is the first square postcard I ever come across ^_^ Link to comment
allonkira 0 Posted July 3, 2004 Beautiful and peacful pic. I love the tones of the clouds. but I think it's too bright, maybe you should reduce brightness a bit. Cheers, allon. Link to comment

kslonaker 0 Posted July 4, 2004 It does look like a postcard, but that's what sells so people can remember the place they were at. This is a very nice capture of a beautiful place. Link to comment
dominic_picard1 0 Posted July 5, 2004 Nice shot. If you want to see my point of view of the same place: http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=2488162 Link to comment
jos www.inpix.biz 0 Posted July 7, 2004 Well seen, this scene. Well captured, this freedom spot. Link to comment
stephan dietrich 0 Posted June 13, 2006 I have stood at this very spot at Tulum. Your colors are dead on. With the white sand and intense skies of this Mayan area on the Eastern Carribean ... it is no wonder why the Mayans built at this location. Great postcard ... thanks for sharing! :^D Link to comment
