I ussually ressist the impulse to post pics that may look like a

postcard,....but I wanted to share this unforgetable vision of the

Tulum ruins, the largest Maya coastal city in the caribbean,....built

in the 12th century.

A place of magical beauty !.......

At times like this the world seems like a work of art,.....enjoy.

Too much color....I think not... Cloud detail and water color are correct as I believe the rocks...Square format works for me also...

what I want to know is how the heck did you get a 137K pix posted? I've stopped posting till I figure the photo.net compression black hole out...

Wonderful display of green & blue color varieties (to a large degree, thanks to that large, orange bolder.) Very peaceful. BTW, this is the first square postcard I ever come across ^_^

Beautiful and peacful pic. I love the tones of the clouds. but I think it's too bright, maybe you should reduce brightness a bit.

Cheers, allon.

It does look like a postcard, but that's what sells so people can remember the place they were at. This is a very nice capture of a beautiful place.

I have stood at this very spot at Tulum. Your colors are dead on. With the white sand and intense skies of this Mayan area on the Eastern Carribean ... it is no wonder why the Mayans built at this location. Great postcard ... thanks for sharing! :^D
