petejr 0 Posted July 1, 2004 Eric, good execution of this shot and subsequent post processing. I didn't see the original but this one certainly is eyecatching. I thought your treatment of the background was good. Instead of completely eliminating it you chose to subdue it until it just provides enough visual interest to not be boring but it recedes enough to not intrude into the main subjects. While there may be some who will pan this shot because it's not "natural" I happen to feel that we have the right to make a shot visually interesting, which, IMO, you've done. Link to comment

davidroossien 0 Posted July 4, 2004 I like the color combination and was attracted to the photo because I was interested to see whether or not you were able to achieve the colors and sharpness from foreground flower to background. I think the lighting on the flower and sharpness are not quite what I was hoping for. It's pretty good with some room for improvement. Link to comment
