salvatore.mele 1 Posted June 30, 2004 Saturday afternoon we were on our way toward a hut from where, onSunday morning, we climbed the Wildstubel, the white bump at thecentre of the picture. I was puzzled by such enormous obstrusive paintmark (just one in a large family) to find the obious path to followthe bottom of this 2000m/7000ft high glaciar valley, and thought ofblowing it up with a 20 mm...Questions:Does this composition work?Is the colour-contrasting red of effect with all other naturalcolours? Did I convey the obstrusivity of the paint? Which is not about photos, sorryAre you -as me- annoyed bythis splash of paint instead of a cairn? Thanks!Cheers Link to comment
beaz 0 Posted July 1, 2004 I think the composition is effective - the marker is off center but completely dominates the foreground. Your choice of cropping emphasizes the encircling landscape. Good job - your point is made! Link to comment
