Guest Guest Posted June 25, 2004 Sorry about not leaving a comment to explain my rating. I probably should have asked a question first. This looks like a zoom blur added afterwards in Photoshop, which, IMO is a lazy way to "spice" up an otherwise fairly normal photograph. If I am wrong in this, I apologize. If this is indeed manually-achieved zoom-blur then bravo on a superb and hard-to-get shot that rates much better than what I jumped the gun to give it. Link to comment
f1-fanatic 0 Posted June 26, 2004 Nope.. I definitely used Photoshop to spice it up. Almost all of the F1 Photos in my folder are manual shots with very little photoshop to sharpen and crop. This one was zoom-blured to take a polarized shot of the to Ferraris to another level and was my attempt at taking putting an artistic spin on an otherwise sports shot. When experimenting I had this image in my head but being only in the hobby of photography for the lesser part of 5 months I wouldn't have the ability to do this manually so Photoshop helped me to acheive a "painting" like feel to add impact to one of my shots. -N Link to comment
neil_lupin 0 Posted July 6, 2004 whether in camera or in PS, this stunning. It can be done in camera, but I guess from the comments above you achieved this in PS. Still I'd be fascinated to know how. You have a very good eye for this type of thing, well done. Link to comment
