larry_heath1 0 Posted June 26, 2004 Your dancer has a few problems, her head should be up and square with her shoulders and her left arm should be straight out from her body. That would be proper positioning for fourth position. Now she may be in transition into her turn here but even so her head should be up and square with here shoulders. Then again I don't know what performance is and may in deed require this positioning. This does not say that this is not a very beautifully expressive picture, but your subject might not be really happy with this presentation. I know that the point dancer in my family told me she would not be happy with this picture. I think it is incumbent on the photographer to try to take shots that show the people in ideal form for there activity. Larry Link to comment
