vorlandphotography 0 Posted June 23, 2004 As others have said, this image has a very nice feel to it. Well done! Link to comment
d- 0 Posted June 24, 2004 Is it a complicated process? Is it difficult to comprehend? Does it take too long? Are you simple? If you opt to rate a photo low, then please leave a comment. It really doesn't do much to find a rating of 3 or lower and have no idea why. It helps to get feedback. Is it "too big"? Does it have "an ugly border"? I mean really. If you don't like it, then help the photographer out and at least let him know where your coming from. Nothing more detestable than getting a low rating from someone who doesn't take the time to post his/her own photos. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted June 25, 2004 In more of 2 years you rated only 49 pics, average 3/4 with only 2 or 3 comments in the low rated. What are you asking for? Link to comment
d- 0 Posted June 25, 2004 What am I asking for? I think I was clear. Not sure what my ratings have to do with the way someone would rate my photos. I admit that I suffered from your malady. Someone pointed out the error of my ways and I adjusted my ratings. It's too easy to rate low and not comment. I don?t rate often for various reasons. I post photos in order to learn something. An above average rating tells me that the photo is well received. A low rating tells me that someone didn't necessarily like it. It is often more edifying to hear the reason why a person doesn't like something. Hence, the reason why I stress that someone leaving a low rating try to leave a comment. So, if I am asking for anything, I guess I am asking that if you are going to rate below the average rating FOR THE photo, that you try to explain briefly. If you are unable or unwilling, then I stand to gain nothing from you. If that?s the case I would prefer you not waste your time rating my photos. If you take the time to write out this rebutal to a message sent to you out of band, and you take the time to look at my stats, why not take the time to be constructive? But you make a valid point, I dont rate often, and in the the beginning I left low ratings w/o comments. Bravo. Link to comment
brandonhamilton 0 Posted October 9, 2004 you probably got low scores because this isn't a fantastic photograph, and there is WAY too much photoshop here. Tacky. Link to comment
