why is the bear in colour? do you have a idea behind that?

Nice photo.. I like the selective color but wonder how it would look straight Black and White? -N

I too think I would like it better in all B/W.

I, too, think this would be better in all black and white (or possibly all color).

 

The digital use of one colored object in a black and white image has been over done to the point of being trite.

 

In this case, however, the color pulls the eye from the true center of the image, which is the little girl. It has transformed what should be an very good image to a mundane image. Pick some image of lesser quality to experiment with PhotoShop.

 

Would you consider reposting this as an all black and white image?

Actually, I like the whole idea of the colored bear. It looks nice. But, it would look nice either way in color or B&W. If she had something in her hair, then that could be colored with the bear. That would look nice, too. But this picture is nice. Cute bear. ;)
