I was out for some street photography when the sky became overcast with dark clouds. Hoping for the best I continued, but the light was still poor when this girl agreed to let me take a picture of her. I decided that mirror slap be damned and shot anyway.
The camera was hand-held. I used a Sekonic L-508 to incident meter the light. The film was pushed 2/3 stops (ISO 80).

The picture might not be super sharp, but I think it is nice portrait

of an unprepared subject. What do you think?

Bueh,

Technical perfection is only part of the equation for a good photograph. You captured a beautiful expression and emotion - on a grey day.

I think that you have captured a lovely moment! Her smile is very sweet and the diffused light is perfect for the mood.

Lovely expression on her face and good tone. I wish it were a bit sharper, though. Nice informal portrait.

No, maybe not the sharpnest but I must seriously question anyone who doesnt love the expression in this moment you have captured so well! The sublte tones, bokeh and expression make this photo. (Oh, and the photographer ;)

Congrats/
