Ama at School

Thanks for your constructive critiques and criticism. I generally

do not do portraits, but my girlfriend was teaching for this private

school and they contracted with me to take some "candid" photos of

the kids. This is one of my favorites. What do you think?

The joyful mood is there but there seems to be a lack of sharpness that's not entirely due to the girl jumping (even the grass is not sharp suggesting a bit of camera shake). The light is also very harsh. A happy moment but I think the photo could be better.

Unfortunately, I thought this could have been much better once I scanned it, as well. The original "Thumbnail" scan I made seemed really nice, but I agree with both your comments--harsh light on the face and blurred immediate foreground. Thanks for your constructive criticism. cc
