nice graphic effect...at first glance one thinks it'not straight but then - the verticals are...there's the rhythm!

Yeah it gives a kind of warped view, a fata morgastic effect.

Hi Pat, no I was not on Superman's back, if it had been superwoman maybe :). I was on a small plane coming from Toronto. The original shot was pretty cloudy but managed to clean it up nicely. I like the way the buildings spike, like a screen of a laboratoriumtesting aparatus

Superwoman comment makes me smile. Yeah very good shot. I like the verticals here too. Very nice. Pretty good clarity from the airplane window... I know you said you cleaned up, I had to too on mine. Tell me... Did you put your lens directly on the window to take this shot? Is that the best way to do these? That is what I did with my 'Landscaping- An Aerial View' shot as well as these shots 'In the Air'

Hey Erin, wow a regular visitor nowadays uh, nice to see you again. Yeah it was dark in the cabin that is one thing tht helps, reflections from the inside usually f... up the captures and indeed putting my lens right to the cabinwindow. Ciao for now.

Op een van je vele reizen geschoten. Is dit boven NY?

Erg imposant als je uit zo'n klein kikkerlandje komt. Die blokken en lijnen met die grote wolkenkrabbers......goed gezien.

Thanx Horst, ik mag me gelukkig rekenenen dat ik veel vertoef in NY, het is mijn tweede thuis. Dit is een paar jaar geleden vanuit het vliegtuig gemaakt....
