Stitched 2 shots, corrected levels, sharpened, rotated a bit to correct the tilting horizon.

This photo is part of my "Vysocina" presentation.

This is my first attempt on a vertical panorama, so I'd welcome your

comments and ratings. In this shot I stitched 2 frames, rotated it

just a bit to correct the seemingly tilting horizon (though the

camera was leveled with spirit levels on a tripod, but the bend of

the trees on the far short deceived me a bit... :-). Thanks for your

time... Jiri

I like this! The jet stream acts as a guide to the eye and brings you into the image from above, but your not abandoned there. Ones eye naturally looks for more and find the shadowed dead tree and allows you to see the entire image. Very nice!

The image truly works for me, with the jet trace leading the eye in and the tree picking it up and landing into the water. I think it is really well composed.

Cheers,

Jiri, this is much more effective than the original version. Even though the tilting horizon may have been an illusion, the viewer perceived it as tilted. The long vertical format here works very well. Great color! Regards.
