I was at this hot-air balloon day and thought of something

different... does it work for you?

Thanks for any comment/criticism you might have, I appreciate you

taking the time to write it down.

Cheers,

Really like the way u composed this. The shadows really add to the photo and colours are amazing. Well done, congrats.

You're definitely a high flyer and I always enjoy coming back to your PF to have my part to some more of your newest adrenaline kicks. Now to this one: pure, basic colors (and where's the blue ?), nice lines. My "provocator hat" on this: what's the "L" for ? The silhouettes (what are they doing?) aren't quite as expressive as on similar captions by master Gary H Sp (how bad to insist on the expression of silhouettes - I'm definitely the one to blame - at least I undestand what's happening with your own silhouette on your personal "portrait" :-) A+ chris

I very much like the abstraction you did with the primary colors and their curves. cheers and good luck on your next balloons safari! - Gary

very well done. original composition and almost perfect color saturation. as a suggestion try Fuji Velvia/Astia i/o Gold, I think it may improve i.e. light up the colors. cheers

The composition works very well IMO, and the curved length of the human shadows adds intrigue. I'd love to see it in B&W as I think that might add to the sense of mystery that I'm getting - not that I don't like the colours though.

Great shot. Many levels. For me, it evokes the planet like orbiting of humanity around its core. The lone symbol that leads in their pathway combines the straight lines of logic and the curved paths of emotions.

I have seen a number of your wonderful landscapes and the adventures they suggest and I believe you mostly shoot in film. With less than 56k download speed I certainly have not seen a majority of your shots, but...

Just a thought, and if I may, a suggestion...My hunch is film constrains your adventure into the realm expressed by the folder 'Reflections' because you are limited in numbers of shots taken and 'experimentation' costs you opportunity to record your love of adventure.

I would love to see you explore the curves of abstraction. With your expriences not only as a photographer but more so as one who has climbed the mountain, huge opportunity exists.

Might I suggest a purchase of a small, 4 - 5 mega pixel digital camera to allow carefree exploration of this arena ? One that allows attachment of a polarizer filter as your film camera does.

You may have already moved into digital cameras, or you may well prefer to stay with the challenge film photography presents. In either event, I hope you explore the curves and post the results. I am sure they will be spectacular.

Regards,

Steve
