beeman458 0 Posted June 17, 2004 A big fan of strong cloud formations and geometric patterns or graphics. Excellent seeing. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted June 17, 2004 I was going to ask where you get such great scenery - then I saw it was Ireland (say no more). Beautiful clouds and light. Link to comment
hardy_djunaedi 0 Posted June 17, 2004 Well composed! The dramatic clouds is successfully captured. Simple but pretty. Color is natural, but sharpness is a bit low. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted June 17, 2004 Wonderful capture. Very strong sky and superbly balance against the landscape. Link to comment
uwestiens 0 Posted June 17, 2004 I love big, fat clouds. Sunshine and blue sky wouldn't suit this scenery. Thanks for your visit. Link to comment
uwestiens 0 Posted June 17, 2004 Yes, Ireland. Where else? It is a paradise for photographers. (and beer lovers too). Link to comment
uwestiens 0 Posted June 17, 2004 I agree with you, the sharpness is not very good, if you consider that I used a velvia for this photo. Maybe the wind was a bit blowy. Thanks for your comment. Link to comment
uwestiens 0 Posted June 17, 2004 I have to admitt that I darkened the sky slightly in PS to give the photo a better balance. Thanks for leaving a comment. Cheers. Link to comment

alecee 0 Posted June 18, 2004 Lovely shot Uwe. Have you tried another step of sharpening? Link to comment
uwestiens 0 Posted June 18, 2004 Yes Alec, I tried it, and you can see that the sky is quite grainy already because of that. I'm not sure why the photo is not sharp. Thanks for your comment. Cheers, Uwe. Link to comment
salvatore.mele 1 Posted June 18, 2004 Uwe, I second many of the comments above on how impressive this image looks, and how unfortunate it is for it not to have a sharper effect on the ruins... Cheers, Link to comment
uwestiens 0 Posted June 18, 2004 Adriana, thanks for your visit. Salvatore, there wasn't much light around and I under exposed by .5 stop. I also didn't have a tripot at hand. That probably all adds up to this result. I hope I will come across such wonderful scene again and do better than. Thank you for your comment. Regards, Uwe. Link to comment
