The shade is killing the chill off the picture. Up on the hill in the left corner. I know that mother nature didn't give you less light. I love it though because the white we all know it's white. Brilliant

Hi Len. The photo is lovely! I should try taking panoramas with my camera to get the square format like you have. Here is my effort. I used Nik Colour Effects Pro to convert it to BW. I didn't get the nice blacks in the foreground fallen tree as yours though.

Greg, I like the way you've rendered the sky and highlighted trees but the foreground is darker than I remember it to be. Perhaps a blend of your version & mine? :) Best, LM.

Hi Len, Thanks. It's not a blend, however. I just applied the NIK BW conversion filter and slid a slider until it looked like this. I didn't take the time to treat any areas of the photo differently than the rest of the picture.
