Quad is perfect. I love the candle light. I like the balance in your photo. It all works well together, for me.

The only small suggestion I'd make is I think I would crop out most of that pillar behind her as imho it adds nothing to the composition. Tony

It is indeed the same location as Luis' photo. MP, Summicron 50 wide open (f/2), about 1/30 or 1/60. I had the fortune of shooting HP5+ that has a terrific tolerance to underexposure so I could shoot much faster than Luis and yet got excellent shadows in the negative. Luis, using Sensia, had to use a much slower speed. I didn't crop the column on the left for fear of unbalancing the image but I have some good space on the right. I shall try to move the frame to the right and look for a balanced composition.

You left a negative comment about this picture on my page, but you were the only one that left which picture. As I come back an look at your picture more slowly I think it is a great picture. When I first looked at it I was going through pictures really fast and it seamed like alot of junk that day. I saw yours and right off it looks very grainy, and the lights looked fake. Now looking closer I can see that this is a good picture so I have changed my rating. Thank you for leaving your picture, I hope you will forgive me, as I continue to learn about taking a good picture.

Ryan, I have no problem with negative ratings. The only thing I ask is that you support them with a comment.

What I like particularly is the great DOF control. The background is sufficiently in focus to help create the context but it is also sufficiently out of focus so as not to distract from the main subjects. Also the composition and exposure are spot on. The photo has a very graceful mood. Very well done indeed.
