hansdans 0 Posted June 14, 2004 A bit unsharp..-white is burned out down in the photo. Otherwise a good bumble bee shot. Link to comment
tomhallphotographycom 0 Posted June 14, 2004 Could have cropped it differently but I choose to have the front flower to be unsharp. Maybe the wrong choice. Still I think it is still a nice capture. Thanks for commenting, keep it in mind next time I crop. Link to comment
brentlossing 0 Posted June 14, 2004 Our bees are black and yellow - nice to see something from across the ocean! BTW - have you ever tried to use continuous drive when shooting bees? For me it has made an enormous difference when trying to get pictures of them flying. Link to comment
tomhallphotographycom 0 Posted June 14, 2004 Hey Brent, thanks for the comments. This was taken with a digital camera. Only 4 frames in burst mode. Maybe I will do it with my maxxum next time but kind of like digital as I can shoot and keep my costs of rolls down :) Link to comment
jmcconnell2 0 Posted June 15, 2004 Hi Tom, I sometimes use the continuous (4 shot) mode on pics like this. Very often the second, third, or fourth shot is better than the first. Too bad the D-Reb doesn`t do more. regards, -Jim Link to comment
tomhallphotographycom 0 Posted June 15, 2004 I bracketed and also as you put it shot several frames. I didn't think I would keep the lowerleft corner in the picture. I decided that after doing a portrait with more blured background. It is distracting I know bu tthanks for the tip, still learning :)> Link to comment
