1000wordsphotography 0 Posted June 15, 2004 Man!!! I love those clouds...!! and nice color in the forground. MMMM... is it me or is the image leaning a bit to the right...nah..never mind...it's me who's tipsy. Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted June 15, 2004 Nope, Regina ... I just noticed it myself. Why didn't I catch that when I was PSing it???? Hmmpphh!! Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted June 15, 2004 Nice sky, although the scenery is a little bland to me. I find there isn't really a center of interest. Still a very pretty sky - you might want to copy that sky sometime when you are photoshopping another image with a not-so-great sky. Link to comment
raywei 0 Posted June 15, 2004 Another great shot of the blue sky. It's almost your trade mark now. Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 65 Posted June 15, 2004 Great sky, Lou Ann, and I love the way the land goes so flat to the bottom of the mountains--common out West, but not typical in the East, where the piedmont plateau usually rolls right up the bottom of the mountains. Indeed, with the Great Plains look and the rocky knob, there aren't that many places in the South where this effect can be found. Link to comment
afterthoughts 0 Posted June 15, 2004 They say photography is painting with light. You took a picture of God painting with light. Nicely done. Link to comment
henrimanguy 0 Posted June 15, 2004 Beautiful sky. The landscape is a bit ordinary. But why have you chosen particularly this place of the fence where there is this indfinite object (agricultural tool ? A tripod ?) and place it right in the middle ? Link to comment
phalvorson 0 Posted June 17, 2004 Nice sky, but the foreground could be better. I enjoy your images. Keep shooting! Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted June 17, 2004 Ahhhh ... all these comments about the fence ... but I thought that it added some interest to the scene. Especially the tri-pod looking thing. I mean, can you imagine the scene without the fence? Blah! Well ... with the fence it is for now. Maybe I'll drive back out there one day and climb the fence and take it from the other side. :-) Link to comment
micheleberti 0 Posted June 19, 2004 I like the picture overall. I like its colours. My only criticism is about the subject, with 50% sky and 50% land it is not clear to me if the subject is the sky or the moutains. But this is just my taste. Link to comment
sondra kick 0 Posted May 16, 2005 Lou Ann, nice photo of Virginia. I am thrilled with your sky, lovely. Cheers, Sondra Link to comment
dmo_galleries_chicago_phot 0 Posted February 17, 2008 Really nice colors. I like the way the different shades of green look together. Link to comment
