I like your view to the South West. The floral display in the foreground, very interesting light cast upon it - very good for a darker exposure. Beautifully composed photograph - excellent use of the wide lens.

I think this is a good image that could be a great image if you lighten it up a bit. It seems way too dark. Great composition.

I disagree with Paul-it's light enough as is. Not sure if maybe you lightened, then reposted? Anyway, I like it as it right now. The purple flowers in the foreground really add to this shot. Nice sky, too! You are so lucky to catch that great lighting and the dramatic clouds all the time.

The whole light verses dark issue is a touchy subject because everyone's monitor is at least slightly different(and some are way off the norm). The lighting in this shot looks perfect to me. Certainly not "bright", but I like the mood this lighting brings. Excellent capture.

Nice colors, must have been even better in reality, with all the light and colors changing... Jiri

Dave,

Great composition, but I am seeing a tone shift about 1/3 of the way up the mountain. It goes from a blueish/cyan color to very dark.

Did you do any digital burning/dodging?

Excellent landscape, I love the dramatic sky, very appealing the blue colors in the foreground corresponding to the sky. To whimper a bit: the bluish transition zone (? gradient mask ?) on the mountains is a bit distracting, could be smoother

As usual I'm at a loss for words for the images you share with us. I live here and I could sit and stare at your pictures for hours. As a side note for those that aren't lucky enough to live here, the bluish haze that you see is a combination of fog lifting from the water and a reflection of the water off of the mountains and that fog. I'm 100% sure that trying to remove or fix this would ruin a fine image. Keep up the good work!
