wilsontsoi 0 Posted June 9, 2004 Ken, I really, really like this. It's a lot of fun! What works for me is the depth that this image has (sign+mounds+pueblo+hill+sky,) composition, supercharged colors, and the actual message itself. It can either be from a comic book, or a travel magazine! Versatile. Link to comment
dennis jones 0 Posted June 9, 2004 Man, I got to get to mountains...Shots like this are killing me... Good SW colors and composition...Looks like the snow is already gone from the mountains.... One of my favorite ski places... Link to comment
pradeep1 0 Posted June 9, 2004 this is simple and nice, reminds me of sarah underhill kind of photographs and more recently, maria conversano. ok now for the nitpickings, the clouds and sky are missing something and the mountain behind seem a bit blue, or is it just me? cheers! Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted June 9, 2004 You have to make it very clear along the gringo trail, I guess. Link to comment
dhawks 0 Posted June 9, 2004 Nice social commentary. I wonder if the business is Indian or paleface owned. Well done. Regards, Doug. Link to comment
home page1 0 Posted June 10, 2004 It's definitely Indian owned. The poverty there is horrendous. If you're interested in a couple more photos from Taos Pueblo, check out my miscell folder in my portfolio. Thanks for the comment. Link to comment
sarahunderhill 1 Posted June 10, 2004 you have to love the sign! Is there still a $10.00 for taking in a camera??? Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted June 11, 2004 I like everything in the foreground. The hills and the sky seem a bit too blue (Especially the hills). Very rich colors up front though. Link to comment
home page1 0 Posted June 12, 2004 You know, I desaturated the hill on the right to make it less blue. I should have done more. Thanks for all the comments. Link to comment
home page1 0 Posted June 12, 2004 I don't remember having to pay anything but the residents sure could use some money. Link to comment
pawel_stradowski 0 Posted June 13, 2004 In spite of the fact that you probably increased saturation too much and clouds look a little unnatural I really like it. It?s very Mexican and has adequate mood Cheers Link to comment
