A definitive seashore sunset. My only reservation is the small pool of water entrained upon the rock to the left. It draws my attention; but perhaps this is a needed element. Regards.

Thanks everyone for the great comments. To be honest this was a photo I somehow managed to overlook when looking through these around the beginning of December. I many times have so many to look through that occasionally one slips by and about a month ago I took the time to go through "all" of my past slides, putting aside a few that I thought had potential. A couple days ago I ran accross this one again and decided to upload it to see what you guys thought.

Hi Walter- I did kind of like the small pool to the left, but I can also see how it could be considered a distraction to some. I would certainly be interested in further comments regarding this.

Thank you all again for taking the time to comment.

Steven, I don't mind the small pool of water at all. It provides a nice contrast to the dark rocks and while it leads your eye to the left the dark rock above it and line of cliffs keep your moving around the image. A great composition!

Just a very beautiful shot!!! I mean it takes to the place, the moment,..the pool on the left is not a distraction it allows the viewer to look thru the photo, without it the shot will be beautiful , but then in my I will be looking just at the center of the picture ...may be just the sun not the whole picture.

I don't like it at all....because it's not mine!!! this is absolutely amazing!! f stop and shutter speed details would be great, though.

Hi Francis, Thank you for the comments. I dont have the exact shutter/F stop for this as I honestly dont much keep track of them anymore. I have taken enough of these now that by the position of the sun and the movement of the water this had a shutter somewhere in the area of 8-10 sec and at this time "about 6-7 months ago" I was using aperatures of F19, but am now using F16 to help ensure better sharpness.

Thanks again everyone for the wonderful comments.
