When i saw this place, i wanted to just go there and lie down on the

grass and breathe the fresh air and sleep there in peace, loved it.

Would love your comments and ratings. cheers! and happy shooting!

I like the lighting in this one. Things are pretty bright even in the deep background. The bark on the first tree has come out beautifully.

....For all your great comments. Much appreciated......Very nice landscape scene in wich I love the soft green color tones, the lighting and the diagonal line of the trees going from bottom right to top left and the diagonal of the three trees in the middle of the image. Very well seen and composed....Best regards, Harry

Good eye and excellent cropping on this. I wish the moss hanging down from the trees would be a little more pronounced. There seems to be an ever so slight tilt to the right. Perhaps 1 degree? I could be imagining that.

Wonderful saturation and the image is very inviting. Excellent over all.

Quite nice. I think of psalms 23.

"He maketh me to lie down in green fields and pastures."

Wonderful detail. Great composition. This image really works. Nornally this kin dof shot is a bit boring. But, your framing makes the content interesting to look at.

Hi Pradeep, the composition is good with tree trunk in the forground leading you in to the scene. However, this image just doesn't work for me, mainly due to the flat light and the burned out white area.

Pradeep it's good capture, however it is lacking something, may be a subject. Obviously this is not an abstract photo and so I need a better focus on a particular subject. What do you think?

well suman yes i agree a bit on that, but i also believe the placement of the trees and the bark of the foreground tree adds character to the picture. cheers! :)

Pradeep, the afternoon light is the most difficult to capture and forest scenes makes it doubly hard often overexposing some areas due to the high EV range. Although your sharp details here are commendable I feel you can do better at a different time of day. i.e. dusk or dawn.

Alec and Wilson, i realise now that the afternoon sun was not the right time to take this shot, it was a pretty shaded place and i thought i could expose and meter well, i am happpy i learnt from that photo wilson, thank you, cheers!

Great composition, and great place. They say photographers should take a nap at these harsh light conditions.Trying to shoot the same shot at later hours of the day will work! But you and your G2 done very well again..reagrds Rajeev

Sorry Pradeep and to those that have rated highly, but I can't understand how this has got so many ratings.

There's no real subject to speak of, the blurry moss hanging down is a distraction and as for the proliferation of blown out highlights, well...

Thank you for your comment, not every picture needs to be technically correct and perfect to be able to get ratings, i think sometimes we just get too entangled with all these things, personally i have a few personal favorite photographs in my portfolio which got very few ratings, thats the irony and reality of life, we have to live with it. cheers! and happy shooting!

Somehow it's very pleasant and not that original. I like lightness and the overall expression. Also, good overall sharpness. I would give i 6 for esthetics and 5.5 for originality, but since there is no 5.5 you have a lucky day ;-)

Cheers

Just a simple beautiful shot. When I think of India...this is not what I think....I have really enjoyed these photos from this lovely part of India....

Thank you for your comment, even today i see westerners thinking of india as a land of the snake charmers and elephant rides and people walking barefoot, but that is not the case, India is one of the most beautiful places and has a remarkable history to it. :)

Technically i agree thats the case, but somehow personally, and maybe emotionally i like this one inspite of its shortcomings, like a child liking its offspring? ;) thanks for your honest comments, thanks

Nice one! It's simple and straight too the point.

Not too happy about the burned out areas... IMHO this is a shot which would have benfited of being - 2/3 - 1 stop... Whenever I used my G2 for "Green" shots I almost automatically did so... and it worked well.

As for why so many people rate and comment: As you yourself say... not every picture need to be perfect... but nevertheless: Pradeep is known for being constructive and polite in all his comments...(which there are many of)... and it does pays off. Many people stop bye... and rightfully so!!! :-))

See you around Pradeep!

Cheers! Ivar from the green island...Ireland.

PS! Thanks for kind and funny comment om my page... :0
