kmgibbs 0 Posted June 5, 2004 Nice shot but it seems a bit over sharpened. Otherwise I like it. Link to comment
pradeep1 0 Posted June 5, 2004 i agree about the over sharpening, but otherwise this is a lovely composition, not one of those run of the mill varieties. good show, cheers! Link to comment
home page1 0 Posted June 5, 2004 Thanks for the comments. I also agree. I've resubmitted it with less sharpness. Link to comment
pawel_stradowski 0 Posted June 5, 2004 I like the way it is, but sometimes I get confused about the main subjectm whether stones or the people are the main subject. Cheers Link to comment
afterthoughts 0 Posted June 5, 2004 I love the composition. Don't agree about the over sharpening. I believe the foreground needs contrast adjustment. Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted June 6, 2004 This is a very interesting photo Ken. The silouetted pair seem to have a hallo or aura around them that give them an interesting look. Where they are standing also gives them an elevated look with what appears to be clouds for a background. Very interesting. Lots of eye appeal in this shot. DOF is perfect. Tone could use a bit of adjust I think. Sharpness is good. Very nice shot overall Ken. One of my favorites of your so far. Link to comment
wilsontsoi 0 Posted June 6, 2004 Ken, I like this one a lot. I don't think it's overshapened at all. Clever use of wide angle to convey a sense of depth. The scale of rocks against the 2 fellows also contributes to the depth of this scene. The waves add drama to an otherwise very peaceful setting. One nit pick is the darkening of the background area that caused too much "aura" along the hill line (although it works great for the 2 figures.) Still, very captivating. Link to comment
dennis jones 0 Posted June 6, 2004 Well done Ken... A tad bit flat and lacking a true black but still nice...Your darkroom work is getting better. Link to comment
