Nude Etude

Hi Rusla, this is a lovely image. The play of light and shape it very nice. As I'm sure you know, this is a much used technique. I've never had the opportunity to take nude photographs myself, but to my eye, I like this sharp image more than the "softer" image in your portfolio. I think the line of the arm is good. Keep looking for that MAGIC angle. Cheers, malcolm.

I looked at this picture before and couldnt make out what is was - I thought it was a stick... Sorry. I now see its a woman and I like it a lot.

The combination of (a) the hard contrast between the subject's back and the background and (b) the fade on the front of the torso is a wonderful dynamic. The attention to detail is tender, almost reverential. The technique may be common, but your eye and the care of execution is special.
