peter_apostol 0 Posted June 5, 2004 I appreciate your advice about the rule of thirds, I think if I brought the camera to a lower angle to get land on the lower part of photograph would only reveal more black figure. The interest point here is clearly only the horizon's colors. Link to comment
peter_apostol 0 Posted June 22, 2005 Now that I know a little more about photography I must say that my initial picture did follow the rule of thirds. In fact the ground in the bottom gives perspective and the interesting points -small ship, horizon, little island- are in the middle grids of the photo and leveled nicely. Your cropping has too much sky and does not follow the rule of thirds. I disagree with your initial critique but happy you did it anyway. Link to comment
