A kasbah in the south of the Jabel Sarhro range, which we reached toward the end of our Boumalne du Dades to N'kob five-day walk.

I had to sit out the hottest hours of the day, and experimented a few

pictures over a break during a long walk in the heat of Morocco.

Do you like it? What would you change? I know is not very original,

but I found it pleasent...

Not original? Maybe not for some, but I'd bet that a lot of people would have passed the same spot without stopping to shoot. I think this is nice and stands out mainly due to the color (these types of shots tend to come with black iron & wood or glass behind. The green is very cool). Wouldn't change a thing except maybe a slight rotation to the left? (tilt always jumps out at me first. Just a small detail though really)

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for your comment!

I am also a missionary of tilting, when it comes to horizons, waterlines and the alike... here I really think the original was offset! I will give it a try soon, though and see how it looks.

Quite an interesting structure this door. A bit busy for the eyes but definetly not boring. I like the green, very warm colour. I'm not sure about the wrong tilt. The whole gate is not very straight and I believe you were in a slide angle to the door. Regards, Uwe.

Good pattern with shadow, may not be very original, but good photo indeed
