Rabbit Dream

dave_k1

This is my attempt at a surrealistic image. The rabbit was added to the scene (my 1st attempt at something like this). When I see the rabbit it just puts a smile on my face.

Buona l'idea e composizione gradevole, avete pensato a un coniglio bianco?

Concordo con Anirvan per quanto riguarda il ratings, almeno un commento con una votazione cosibassa!Saluti Michele.

Excellent job with the rabbit. It did seem a little strange that he would just pop up right in front of you here. (-: Great job of blending him in and a beautiful image.

The answer to Anirvan's question is 'sheer envy'! Such people really make me angry, which is why I have recently posted a suggestion about who should have the privilege of rating another photographer's pictures. (Ironically, in this case, it would have made no difference!)

Great image, Dave ~ however it was done!

Kind regards, Chris

Rabbit was pasted in and has different lighting than the rest of the image. Take a look at it in the larger mode and you'll see.

Cute and cleaver. Admirable attempt at compositing various images. Perhaps rework around those merging area (where dark meets light) around the mountain so the layering won't be too obvious? Nice composition nevertheless.

I thought this was really a fun composition. We're so used to seeing the top quality landscapes from you and the addition of the bunny just adds a touch of whimsy to this. It's not even worth bothering with a 1/1 rater; if you get enough ratings, his score won't be important, and you usually do get a high number of ratings on your work. It has to be envy so I'd take it as that and ignore him.

In the strictest sense of purity, perhaps the bunny does seem out of place, however, since when does art and photography have to be realistic in every sense of the word? I am instantly reminded of Alice and I find myself looking for the rabbit hole that must be somewhere in this picture. Fun and lighthearted!
