Phlox Xpan

barclayphoto

One exposure as I have the Hasselblad Xpan not the II. I held this on the tripod with a loose head. The exposure at f22 was well over 1 second so I held it still for about half and then panned slowly up for the second half of the exposure.

"Impressionistic". I like it alot. Even the tree trunks are not mathematically placed, not harsh. I could live with this photo for many years.

A very peaceful scene. I love the subtle colors and tones. Well done. Regards, Doug.

I like it... a lot! Along with the nice composition and colors, it does have a Renoir look and feeling = beautiful.

I sometimes do that kind of impressionnistic trick myself... Well chosen subject, good execution.

John, I love this. I've been trying this kind of stuff but I see you're doing it with film. What I like about this is that you've managed to keep the flowers and the background trees seperate, which I find difficult to do. The hues are delicious. Thanks.

Very "Monet" but I love it. You have perfected the speed of your pan, so as to not create too much blur. After long deliberation, this is my favourite. Thanks for the Tech info. Regards Clive
