Thanks for the comments. This was taken from the inside of a railway logging car. It was actually taken in colour; the steel is a deep red set against a lovely blue sky. Both images are strong but I preferred the black and white version. I'll have to upload the colour version. :)

Ria, it definitely has an "out of this world" quality to it. To me it's more like something out of a horror film. The chain on the middle pillar seems like a skeleton hanging there ...

Hi David, I prefer this B&W version - makes the subject suggest more. Definatley has a seriousy creepy feel to it, the chains drawing my eye and making me wonder what this is used for... nothing good I think! hehehe But the shot itself - amazing! Ellen
