This was created to reflect a feel of the silent movie era.

Beautiful lighting, good model, consistent with the oldfashioned style. The highcontrast effect is well controlled, to show the essential parts of the face, and hide other detail.

i like the effect here. reminds of me a lithograph (i think that's what they are called...straining my memory here from grade school art class). it especially works well b/c your model has dark hair/features.

For me this effect destroys the photograph, but I'd love to see the original posted as it looks like it was very good. Tony

No, I love it this way, it's my favorite work in your portfolio, there is story here. I connotes a sense of Mexican silents movies plus her expression looking over her shoulder gives me a sense of anticipation.
