I Don't Want To Come Out...

I think this was the second of the Blue Tit chicks to emerge from the nest box on my son's birthday. He was very reluctant to come out but, after some encouragement from a parent, he left to be followed by four more of his siblings.

You could have removed the screw.

Just beautiful. Maybe more effective if cropped a bit on the left side so the bird isn't quite in the middle?? If not, you might get rid of the black spot in the mid/bottom left corner. Love the screw in the upper right! Just a few points on an otherwise perfect picture.

I thought the screw added something too - it's hard to put your finger on it.

I love this shot. And I think the screw adds something, as well. I like that the screw mimics the shape of the birdnest entrance. The color is great and that bird couldn't be any cuter.

i think what makes this shot is the screw. if it wasn't there, i think things would be too symmetric. however, since it's on the main diagonal, it really adds to the shot.
