tony georgiadis 0 Posted May 27, 2004 Dow and Windle,I thank you both for your comments since both of you have a similar Question then I'll try to answer to both of you,The image is an infrared as originated it has a green color cast...I convert it to B&W and I convert it to RGB and then I experiment with hue Saturation swapping channels colour balance till I achieve the colours to my likings the sky is done with layers...When am happy with the results then it's ready to upload,I said according to my likings doesn't mean everybody's likings just to clear things up. manolis1 0 Posted May 29, 2004 Tony, You are already in my list of interesting people not because of this photo only but because of your entire portfolio, which is extraordinary. Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted May 29, 2004 Photoshop or not - it's the end result that counts and I like this. The sky is just a touch too pink and orange for me, though - I feel like it doesn't quite match the rest of the scene. Link to comment
tony georgiadis 0 Posted May 29, 2004 Emmanouil thanks for your comments I appreciate it. Link to comment
tony georgiadis 0 Posted May 29, 2004 Kim thanks I appreciate your comment and I respect your point of view about that sky,Now I would like to say that am not a photoshop expert I'd wish i was but I experiment a lot with different approaches,I wish i knew more cause I think that it's such a powerful image editing tool that if you get to master it you could do wonders,I do not have much time to learn it as I said in previous comments but I constantly search on the net for different plugins, actions, colour filters, colour tones, anything that could help me achieve the results am striving for, I know everything could be done with photoshop alone but it takes so much time to devote to learn more of it which I wish I had spare.there's so much on the net freeware, shareware,I just try to find what could give me the effect am looking for by experimenting with those plugins, filters, tones,by altering the results with Hue, Saturation, channel mixer, colour balance, and a powerful tool by itself dodgin and burning till am pleased with the end result.Regards Link to comment
