anirvan_nandy 0 Posted May 26, 2004 May I suggest removing the somewhat bluish color cast ? I also agree with the earlier comment abt the under-exposure. The composition is very nice otherwise ! Link to comment
allonkira 0 Posted May 26, 2004 Thank you Anirvan and Francesco! To Anirvan the bluish color cast is because I tuned the camera to fluorescent white balance mode. It is like shooting with a blue filter. Rgds. allon. Link to comment
erikadams 0 Posted May 26, 2004 I like the sky exposed the way it is but would like to see the ground better. How about using a circ polarizer and a graduated ND filter instead of CP/UV? Link to comment
allonkira 0 Posted May 27, 2004 Hi Erik, thank's for your suggestion, I guess that using ND filter can work in this case. Also, I tried to improve the ground details by using PS - contrast and brightness. I hope that now it's a little better. Rgds, allon. Link to comment
maria conversano 0 Posted May 27, 2004 I think that this picture is perfect like it is. The colors make evident the beautifull contrast and the lovely composition. Link to comment

pnital 36 Posted May 28, 2004 Allon, it looks very much alive in my monitor, what is distructing is the sky on the left hand side. What do you say about croping the sky a little above the tree and give it a "panoramic" look? Pnina Link to comment
raymond_chin 0 Posted May 28, 2004 I totally agree with the use of graduated ND for this shot. However, one may not have it at that instance unfortunately. May i suggest substituting with Photoshop CS shadow/highlight adjustment to bring back some more details in the sky and bring up the shadow area. Otherwise, a nice shot without the bluish cast. phyliss_stein 0 Posted May 29, 2004 Sorry but the sky looks terribly blown out in the top left. I agree with the ND suggestions. Perhaps a longer lens would be good too, for zooming in. I feel there is just too much in the picture. Link to comment
micheleberti 0 Posted May 30, 2004 Great composition! I really like sunflowers... hope to shot them as well soon! Link to comment
